About Us

ASRA OfficeASRA is a ‘not for profit’ organisation with over 20 years’ experience in providing affordable housing and building sustainable communities.

We build and manage good quality accommodation to rent, buy, or part-rent/part-buy through shared ownership.

Our homes and services meet the very varied needs of single people, couples and families of all ages across Greater London and the south east.

Around 20% of our homes provide specialist accommodation such as sheltered housing and refuges for people from Asian backgrounds; the remaining 80% are for people from all ethnic and cultural backgrounds.

ASRA properties include well-maintained ‘general needs’ housing, accommodation for key workers, retirement flats and bungalows, and supported housing for people with specific care or support needs, enabling them to live independently.

We also help regenerate communities, creating places that people are proud of, and choose to live and invest in.

Working with our partners across 21 London boroughs and five local authorities in the south east of England, we help neighbourhoods thrive, by:

  • involving local people
  • improving housing
  • creating safer, cleaner public spaces
  • supporting local job and training creation
  • supporting local groups and residents associations and
  • attracting funding for facilities and projects.

With an asset base of £261m, ASRA is financially robust, with proven corporate management experience.

ASRA is an Industrial & Provident Society (24620R) with charitable status.
