ASRA Greater London Housing Association is calling on all footy-mad 14-16 year olds from across London to take part in its first five-a-side football tournament this month.
The event will take place at the Mile End Leisure Centre and Stadium in Poplar, east London, on Sunday 28 June, 10am-5pm.
Young people from any area of London – boys and girls - can enter as a team or come along on the day as an individual, and ASRA will find them a team to join.
Medals will be awarded to all players and the best players will also be invited to play for a new ASRA team to play in other football tournaments.
Yaw Boadu, ASRA’s Resident Involvement Officer, said: “ASRA’s first five-a-side football tournament promises to be a really exciting day where youngsters can have fun and meet new people.”
Players will need to bring proof of age, such as an oyster card or a consent note from a parent or guardian.
If you are entering as a team, at least two players should be ASRA residents.
