ASRA Development Team 

Asra Greater London Housing Association manages over 2,600 homes throughout London and the South East for rent, low cost home ownership and more recently commercial / outright sales. We provide specialist support to vulnerable households and cater for a diverse range of need throughout our stock.  Our development strategy focuses on the key boroughs of Brent, Ealing, Harrow, Hounslow, Greenwich, Newham and Waltham Forest. However, we are also expanding our operational activities in Lewisham and Croydon as well as considering opportunities along the M1 corridor up to Northampton.

Development Programme

The LHA-ASRA group secured a substantial allocation from the Housing Corporation of £27m for the 2008/11 programme placing the Group within the top 30 developing associations in the country. ASRA received £8.65m of this and with additional allocations agreed at the year end will have secured £21.85m of new allocation for 2008/11. This will deliver 541 new affordable homes over the next three years. We have an available landbanking facility of £10m and are maintaining a rolling programme of site acquisitions in advance of funding. We are constantly seeking new opportunities for continued growth and expansion.
